Contract packager Unicep (Sandpoint, OH) has been sold by the company’s founder, Dr. John Snedden, to two current employees — Marcus Anderson, president, and Clint Marshall, CFO.

Both Anderson and Marshall joined the executive management team at Unicep five years ago with the intent to purchase the company. Marshall began his professional career in Spokane as an auditor with Coopers and Lybrand before moving to Telect, Inc. to prepare the company for an IPO. Anderson has over twenty years of management experience in production and manufacturing. His previous position was director of global operations for Telect, Inc. where he managed plants in U.S., Mexico, Poland and China.

Unicep provides non-sterile contract packaging and compounding for gels, liquids, lotions, and emulsions for oral healthcare, IVD, OTC, cosmetic and nutraceutical markets. It provides turn-key services that include formulation development, compounding, filling and packaging.
